Summer means sangria. Whether you’re lounging poolside or enjoying dinner under the stars, every summer memory is made better with a glass of sangria. While sangria is traditionally made with red wine; our version gets a lighter twist with crisp white wine. With some sweet fruit, a little citrus, and some fresh mint, you’ll be raising a glass to celebrate summer evenings over and over again. Recipe by Poe and Co.
- 1 pound nectarines, white peaches, apricots, etc.; 1 cup reserved for garnish
- 1 bottle white wine
- 1 cup cointreau or grand marnier
- 1 cup orange juice
- Mint sprigs, to garnish
Combine the stonefruit in a blender and blend until smooth. Add a little wine if necessary to get the blender going. Pour into a large pitcher and mix in the wine, cointreau or grand marnier, and orange juice. Add the reserved stonefruit and mint as garnish.
